Awhile back
The New Republic ran a
few stories from a writer, Scott Beauchamp, who claimed to have been a
soldier in Iraq. Well, he was a soldier in Iraq, but that is about as
much truth as there was in the stories (which were very unflattering to
our troops). The New Republic has finally admitted that the stories
were pretty much made up. Michelle Malkin has a good take on it
